The Role

Job Summary:


Responsible for managing a centralised admission process for our prospective learners and students across all Inclusion provisions. You will play a crucial role in liaising with parents, local authorities, external agencies and internal stakeholders to develop and administer an effective centralised admissions process and to support the smooth admission of our young people into Inclusion Education. This position requires an individual with excellent administrative skills and a compassionate approach. A good understanding of SEN is desirable but support will be provided.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Acting as the primary point of contact for external agencies, parents and carers regarding admissions across Inclusion Education’s provisions, providing clear guidance, support and signposting throughout the process.  
  • Developing and administering a centralised admissions process, ensuring all relevant documentation including Educational Health Care Plans (EHCP’s) and required admission assessment documents are reviewed, up to date and in place.
  • Responsible for evaluating EHCP selections and provision costing from the Central Admissions Administrator with heads of provision.
  • Maintain accurate and up to date records ensuring compliance with Inclusion Education’s admissions policies, Local Authority protocols and the SEND code of practice 
  • Prepare final reports for submission to our Internal Admissions panel(s) for review 
  • Liaise with local settings in arranging visits for potential placements
  • Prepare admissions status updates and progress reports for Heads of Provisions
  • Coordinate Annual Review timetabling and paperwork, and support with meeting arrangements.
  • Market settings, and support with provision Open Day planning for prospective parents and young people
  • General Central Services Administration as directed by the Head of Business Operations
